Hi Chewie,

I've written a few one page posts on Google blog. I've been trying to integrate what I've learned from the keyword academy website. I am married, and I'm finding it difficult at this time to make ends meet, if you know what I mean? I don't have the money to buy a domain, or host a site, so I've turned to blogging to try to start earning some income. I've started with writing articles, using adsense, and trying to learn about links, and the other free stuff that Court and his partner talk about on keyword academy. As I learn more about what I can that's free, I have more questions, and I am becoming somewhat frustrated. I have been a factory worker for 5+ years, I'm 46 years old, and my body is getting tired of working. I am willing to stick with this concept of blogging, but I need a mentor, or someone who could look at my blogs and just suggest some simple things that I could do to develop more traffic. I wish I had the money to spend, but I did that last year on a site, and got no revenue at all, so I gave up. I don't want to give up again, but I don't know how to carry on? It seems that I'm not understanding some of the simple things like linking, tagging, etc. I've submitted some articles to enzine and goarticle, but I don't know if my blogs make sense, and how I can better link them to each other, and so on.
I'm rambling, because I'm lost in the mayhem. If you can spare a few minutes, I'd appreciate your perspective, and maybe someday be able to return the favor to someone else who is struggling.

Sincerely,

I'm trying to learn. I need to quit my day job. I know it will take time but I am willing to do whatever it takes.

The blog I am building is motivational and I want to make money with affiliates.

How do I get links!!!

I'll keep reading your stuff... Thanks

Hey Chewie,

Nice to see you posting again. Was wondering....you mentioned that theere is a different method for high cpc keywords..

So with this method, am I understanding that the strategy here is to go for lower cpc and get lots of traffic? What is the lowest cpc you would go for with the adwords tool? and when going for something as general as "coloring supplies" do you worry about smart pricing?

Vic tends to be very protective about his adsense...and I was wondering how to balance that with this strategy...

Very informative post. I'm looking forward to part two. I like that it wasn't confusing at all to newbies like me. I'm especially looking forward to "how to rank for tough keywords" that you mentioned, because mine seems to be a bit tough at the moment, yet I'm in too deep to start over so I'm going at it headfirst!

Thanks for all the help by sharing your knowledge.
